Now I was prepared for the $2,000 bill. Tipton was courteous, industrious and within 15 minutes identified the culprit solenoid. Communicating with his support team, they found my motor was covered under a manufacturer?s warranty. He left to get the new, factory replacement and within 3.5 hours of me calling Air Quality Control & Heating our AC was running perfectly. The bill was for the service call and installation - no up-sell or vague descriptions. I never thought I would call an AC repair perfect, until now. Tipton loves his employers and credits the brothers who own the company with caring about customers. I?m a believer!!

We FINALLY found an AC company that knows what they're doing! We had 3 different companies come out in the past year and tell us 3 different things--quoting us $1000+... more to replace various parts. We called Air Quality Control on Monday AM and Eric arrived within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem quickly and came back later to install the part we needed. Dale came out for maintenance on our generator. He did a great job and discussed the equipment including battery options. Very professional, reasonably priced.

We had a problem with the float valve shutting down our HVAC system. Dale came the next Monday and fixed the problem on our LG mini-split system. He is knowledgable... more about the mini-split systems. I posted this review a bit prematurely. It is a bit of a long story, but: Dale vacuumed the condensate drain line which made the unit work for one day. He did this as a part of the "preventive maintenance" for $528. I wrote the review. Three days later he returned and vacuumed the condensate line again, noting that it could be the condensate pump failure and worried that access was not possible. They charged me the $98 service fee although on the website it says a 6 month warrantee on drain pipe clean-out. then it turns out that the previous owner of Air Quality Control who installed the system in 2015 placed this unit above the drop ceiling while doing a complete remodel and it is not able to be serviced due to the tight space and a wall underneath it. That voids my warrantee. The current owners bought the company. To make a long story short, the owner's response is "you bought the unit from (previous owner's name) not me. I responded that I bought it from Air Quality Control not (previous owner). He responds We are no longer Air Quality Control INC. Note the Inc. part! I now chalk it up to tuition in the school of hard knocks. I am going to a different HVAC company.

They dont take any ownership of thier problems. Had an AC issue where it was freezing up. Called these guys based on reviews and they came out. Paid the $100... more plus the additional charge for what they said they would fix my AC unit. Less than a month later I'm having the same issue and now when I call them they said it's not their problem and won't call me back or respond when i called to have them come back out and take a look.

This company is wonderful and cannot recommend them enough! We had issues with our air conditioning and had a different company come out Friday of Memorial weekend and said the... more problem was fixed but later Friday night we discovered it was still pumping out warm air. I called Air Quality Saturday morning and got a call back in 2 minutes from the owner, Victor. He sent his tech out and then eventually went out himself and figured out a tricky problem after being patient enough to watch our unit run for 20-30 minutes, went back to his shop to get a part, drove back out to our house and had our unit working by Saturday evening! I cannot say enough good things about Dale Forminsky, one of their service technicians. Recently during a storm surge, the blower on my air handler went out and I had to have a new one installed. Because I had purchased the 10-year warranty package the cost of the part and installation was covered. It appeared at first that the part would have to be ordered and would take several days to arrive. Dale went back to the store even though the inventory said zero, he looked around for it and sure enough there was one I needed and he came back and installed it the same day. While the technicians themselves were very professional and timely, I unfortunately do not feel that this company has provided adequate service. After being told my problem was resolved during two... more separate service calls, I’m still experiencing the same issue with my A/C. Both my air handler and condenser are 2021 - barely used - so I was confused as to why I’ve been experiencing so many problems. I finally called a different A/C company who helped me identify the very obvious problem within minutes and will be out in the morning to fix it. I’m very surprised that this issue was not caught if the technicians did a thorough inspection of my system. The money that I paid Air Quality Control to resolve the issue was not worth it, in my opinion. I did not enjoy coming home to my house at 90 degrees again for the third time. I’m also extremely disappointed that I am having to take even more time off of work to be home for an A/C repair that should have been handled over 2 weeks ago.

AQC came out and reinstalled 2 of my mini splits units that I have had issues with from Day one which ARS installed original a year ago. Dale was great... more and was very knowledgeable and explained and showed me all the issue of the bad install from ARS. Now my units work amazing, no leaks and super quiet. They did such a thorough job and where very timely. Job was also priced fairly and I really felt they did a great job and will definitely be using them again for any other issues in the future.

Had someone come by to get a quote for a full install. The guy came, looked around for 30 sec, said he's not the right guy to quote a job,... more and ask me to call the owner. I called the owner "Rick" and he said I would need to pay for a energy report before they would quote me. The tech didn't take pictures and just left. Don't waste your time, call someone else for a quote. Edit to reply: That is correct that I currently have window shaker units. It was communicated that I needed a full AC system install with duct work when making the appointment, not sure how that was a surprise when the tech arrived. I told the tech that I have access to the attic space and a ladder set up, alternatively I had pictures of the attic space as well, those options were refused. I'm aware of the manual J requirement for a permit, but yours is the only company to refuse to provide any sort of estimate without it. Unless you've only been in the business for a few weeks, you should be able to make at the very least an educated guess about what I'll need for the purposes of a quote. I also told the tech exactly what I wanted and what others were quoting. Finally, don't blame your lack of diligence on a fabricated lack of willingness from my end. Your tech left without taking more than 2 steps inside and said it was pointless to take pictures of anything. If I could give less stars, I would.
